Location, Location, Location still applies in the internet age.  Look for traffic count in front of the site, curb cut assessibility, and a 1,3,5 mile demgraphic profile.  In addition, the mix of business's around you have to be right.

On thing about the Daytona Beach market, it is really several markets.  Ormond shoppers primaily stay in Ormond, Port Orange shoppers, Port Orange, and Daytona Shoppers, Daytona.  Don't expect to draw heavily from one of the other markets.  It won't happen.

A lot of people are not aware of this but Beville Road is the geographic middle of the East Volusia market, not ISB. 

So pick your site wisely and do your homework.  You'll be glad you did.  You might check out one high traffic location I have on 400 S. Ridgewood Ave.
