In this market the answer seems to be letting people go as being the first solution to cutting back expenses.  Instead of that being the first, take a look at your facility.  You know, the space you bought/leased way back when thinking things would only expand.

For an example, 500 square feet of space that you don't need at even a low rate of $10 per sq ft per year costs you over $5000.  Reducing space saves costs.  Reducing personel reduces muscle.  Not only do you save on the rent factor but on electricity, taxes, etc.  Look around, I'll bet you could really do with a smaller, more efficient space and most landlords would rather reduce your space requirement than to loose you as a tenant.  If you need someone to talk with your Landlord give me a call.

Take a look at the perfect space analysis and see how your facility stacks up against what others in the industry think it should be.

If your considering a commercial real estate purchase or lease in Daytona Beach or the greater Volusia Market, call me, Im Claude Gardner.  Check out my credentials.  Good Luck!
