You will be faced with an amendment on the ballot this year that will, in my opinion, ruin our local residential and commercial economy. 

It is Amendment 4 and is cleverly named "Hometown Democracy".  It is an amendment which if passed would require a vote of the general public for each and every change to the Comprehensive Land Use plan now in place. 

Local governments' comprehensive plans in Daytona Beach and surrounding area must have the flexibility to be changed within the framework of our representative government.  Not a County wide vote of the general public trying to interpret a 75 word explaination as limited by ballot.   

We want and need responsible development and decisions made by officials that are elected, infomed and have studied the request.  Vote no on Amendment 4.  What is your opinion?.
